Before this task, I had never heard of Diigo. Now I'm a convert. I love it! It's a great way to organize my bookmarks, access them from any computer, and add notes to interesting sites. I will definitely continue to use Diigo.
I bookmarked and tagged the following sites:
torontostar.com (tags: news, Betty Blogger)
boothstars.com (tags: horoscopes, Betty Blogger)
I look forward to adding more bookmarks (and tags!) in future.

Task #2 - Streaming
I've been watching Coronation Street since I was born, but it's been on the air even longer than that. In fact, the show will mark its 50th anniversary in December. I love YouTube because not only can I catch up on episodes that I miss, but I can also watch gems like this:
This is from the very first episode of Coronation Street, which aired in December 1960, now available in streaming video on YouTube.
Not only can you find historical film and television videos on YouTube, you can upload and preserve your own funny or interesting experiences. There are also thousands of instructional videos to explore. Do you want to know how to tie a tie? Search YouTube and learn. Is Casablanca your favourite movie? Search YouTube and enjoy. Streaming video and YouTube are popular (and lots of fun!) because the experience is immediate. You can view a funny, nostalgic, or instructional video by simply clicking Play and without having to waste your time waiting for a download.
YouTube is already in my Bookmarks list, and I will definitely continue to go there in future.

Task #1 - Web 2.what?
What is Web 2.0 all about? On a scale of 1 to 10, my knowledge of Web 2.0 and its applications is currently about a 5.0. I love to spend time connecting with friends and family on Facebook, reading funny or provocative tweets on Twitter, and uploading favourite photos to Picasa Web Albums.
I'm looking forward to learning so much more about the wide world of Web 2.0 and networking with my fellow Betty Blogger bloggers! Good luck everyone!
